We are getting married at the barn in the very lovely East Riddlesden Hall in West Yorkshire; we did not choose it for its name, but consider it a happy coincidence: Bradford Road, Riddlesden, Keighley, West Yorkshire, BD20 5EL (https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/yorkshire/east-riddlesden-hall). There is parking on site.

No strict dress code: cocktail/semi formal/come as you normally would for a British wedding or garden party/national dress welcome/Harry Potter fancy dress welcome. We don't have rules about white or anything. Wear whatever you feel fabulous in!
“Fleur was wearing a very simple white dress and seemed to be emitting a strong, silvery glow. While her radiance usually dimmed everyone else by comparison, today it beautified everybody it fell upon. Ginny and Gabrielle, both wearing golden dresses, looked even prettier than usual, and once Fleur had reached him, Bill did not look as though he had ever met Fenrir Greyback.”

For the love of Merlin, please do not give us anything we have to transport back home!
To be honest there is no need to gift at all; we will be making a donation to some of our favourite local charities in lieu of giving you sugared almonds.

I am the love that dare not speak its name.’”

As curious as it may sound to many of you, our sweet Harry Potter wedding fest is illegal in most of East Africa and the Middle East as well as a number of other parts of the world (the wedding, not Harry Potter). As we live in East Africa, and Lee works in the Middle East, please do not post any images of the wedding where we are identifiable (please feel free to send them to us though!), or tag us in any posts . Also, please share images of yourselves looking beautiful; we will look forward to seeing them!
*UPDATE January 2024 - This is now under review! We're moving to a country in which we WILL be legal in August (straight after the wedding, FFS).
